Joseph Mannis

Mr. Mannis is the founding partner in the firm Hersh, Mannis & Bogen, L.L.P. The firm presently consists of three partners, Neal Raymond Hersh, Judy Bogen and Mr. Mannis and six associates. This firm’s practice is limited almost exclusively to family law.

Mr. Mannis has been a guest lecturer and speaker before various university and professional groups including continuing education courses for attorneys for the University of Southern California, Beverly Hills Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Santa Monica Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, California Certified Public Society and various other Continuing Education of the Bar programs, including in the last many years:

Since January 1972, Mr. Mannis has specialized in all phases of family and civil litigation. He has also been involved in all phases of the entertainment industry, including entertainment litigation. He has produced two motion pictures (co-executive producer): “Cheech & Chong’s Still Smokin’” and “Cheech & Chong’s Corsican Brothers.” Since 1982, a large percentage of his practice has involved family law. Since 1988, virtually his entire practice has been family law.

 

Mr. Mannis has been involved in many high profile, highly complex and sophisticated family law matters, which included the representation of several individuals in the “Forbes 400″ or their spouses or mothers of their children. He has also represented dozens of professional athletes, entertainers, entertainment executives, including, in one instance, the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of a major motion picture studio and in another, the President of a major studio. Authorization has been obtained for a variety of clients and can be provided upon oral request.
