Judy Bogen

Judy Bogen is a native Los Angelino who grew up not far from her office in Beverly Hills. Ms. Bogen is a graduate of UCLA and received her J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law.

 

Judy Bogen is one of the three partners of Hersh, Mannis & Bogen, LLP and has 30 years of experience in the area of Family Law. Ms. Bogen is certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

 

Ms. Bogen is a past Chair and Member of the Family Law Advisory Commission to the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and has served as a Drafter and Grader of the Family Law Specialization Examination. Ms. Bogen is AV rated by Martin Hubbell, which represents the highest level of professional excellence and has been named a Southern California “Super Lawyer” each year since 2004. Ms. Bogen also has been named one of the top 100 Women Lawyers of Southern California.

 

Ms. Bogen has the distinction of being one of a handful of attorneys named as a Member of the Family & Juvenile Law Advisory Commission to the Judicial Council of the State of California and has served in such capacity since 2002. The Commission’s responsibility to the Judicial Council includes facilitating the Administration of the Family Law Courts, especially in the areas of the new Rules of Court, new Legislation, and new Forms for Trial Practice, all of which impact the practice of Family Law on a daily basis.

 

Ms. Bogen has been an Officer and Member of the Beverly Hills Family Law Executive Committee since 1999 and also has been a Member of the Los Angeles County Family Law Executive Committee since 1999. Ms. Bogen is a Member of the Order of Distinguished Attorneys for the Beverly Hills Bar Association.

 

Ms. Bogen serves as a Family Law Mediator and Judge Pro Tem and is a frequent and sought after Speaker and Panelist, both locally and statewide in all areas of Family Law.
